We’ve invented a process that uses nanoparticles to detect and remove heavy metal ions from drinking water and industrial wastewater. It provides a sustainable, reusable and cost-efficient way to meet EPA regulations.
Our team is comprised of Case Western Reserve University faculty, alumni, and students, including a Ph.D. chemist, two MBAs, a biotechnology graduate student, and an IP/technology commercialization attorney.
We’re excited to be a part of the startup community here in Cleveland, Ohio! Syngenia is currently raising funds to support the commercialization of our technology through available grants and other state funding.
I thought that nanoparticles were just science fiction —how do they work?
